I think that how people percieves your style is very relative. I spent years hearing people saying that my art was "too american" (anime fans mostly) and having comic fans saying that my work were "too anime-oriented". I think my style is very animesque, but at this point, I'm trying to do something that I feel is mine rather than trying to cope with everyone's expectatives.
