Illustration/Drawing II project on perspective. Based on the food court in West Quay, Southampton.
Initially planned on depicting a sleezy night bar with futuristic bunny girls dancing on the tables and in the air, neon lights and spilling alcohol; however I felt that someting as ambitous wouldn't have been practical for an approaching deadline. This is where lucky cats in place of sexy women comes into the scene; their sole purpose: to brighten up the picture and its mood. My brother (a composition addict :3) argues against the transparent ceiling- but I feel that it gives a sensation of freedom and moulds quite nicely with the 'lucky' theme. He is quite right about the middle section however, where there needs to be something which breaks the line of the table up. I'm happiest with how the cat in the rectangular spa turned out. He's so cute! @_@
[Thanks to my bro
for your opinions along the way~ ^^]
